Spicy Sesame Slaw
Day 29: I needed a side to eat all my leftovers, and an imaginative way to eat the cabbage from our winter CSA, before the new batch arrives, today! The sauce is adapted from Vegetarian Times Low-Fat and Fast recipe for sesame noodles.
Ingredients:
For Sesame Dressing:
1 Tbs Sesame oil
1 Tbs Braggs Liquid Aminos
2 Tsp toasted sesame seeds
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 red chilli flakes
For salad:
1/4 white cabbage, shredded in a food processor
Handful of chopped almonds
Mix all the dressing ingredients. Toss into the cabbage and almonds.
