Chard & Garlic – the Best Double Act in Town
I didn’t mean for this to be a dish, but it really works as a side dish!
Ingredients:
1 bunch chard – leaves separated from the stems
6 cloves garlic, sliced
1Tbs olive oil
1Tsp Marjoram
Salt & Pepper to taste
Blanche the stems of the chard. Drain. Add the olive oil to a wok and heat to a medium heat. Add the garlic for about 3 minutes until it just starts to turn amber. Add the chard – leaves and blanched stems. Turn down the heat, add the marjoram, and cook gently until the leaves shrink. Add salt and pepper to taste.
