Spicy Sesame Squash Spaghetti
Okay, this is delicious. I never thought I’d become somebody who makes spaghetti out of zucchini and actually call it spaghetti, but here I am. It is so satisfying to make the ‘noodles’ (because it is easy with instant results).
Don’t make my mistake – one courgette makes a ton of spaghetti – stop at one! I used a spiralizer, which I bought online. You can get them from specialist kitchen shops, too.
Ingredients
1 medium zucchini
1 Tbs Sesame oil
1 Tbs Braggs Liquid Aminos
1 Tbs sesame seeds (toasted if you like)
1 clove garlic, minced
I small chilli – your choice. I like chipotle. Chopped finely.
Salt to taste
Cut the zucchini (courgette) into thirds and place in the spiralizer. You can find tons instructions online but I love the guy in this video. He gets so enthusiastic at the end of the video. I totally get it! I use the Benriner and I like it a lot, but I am sure there are plenty of other options.
Mix the remaining ingredients in a jar.
Place the zucchini into bowl and toss in the sesame sauce. Keep in the fridge until ready to serve. The longer you leave it, the more flavourful it will become.
