Hazlenut Chocolate Cacao-Chip Ridiculous Yum Balls

OMG, these are off-the-charts, and they are raw! I can’t say that they are good for you  but they are full of chocolate-y goodness, when you are craving a nutella fix.
Hazlenut Chocolate Balls
Ingredients:
1 C raw hazlenuts
4 dates – seeds removed
1Tbs – raisins
3/4 C raw cacao powder
3 Tbs water (approx)
1 Tbs coconut oil

Coating:
1/4 C raw cacao powder
1/8 C raw agave
1/8 C coconut oil (melted)
1Tbs crushed cacao nibs
Optional – 1Tbs ground raw coconut shreds

In a food processor, grind the hazlenuts until a flour-like consistency. Add the cacao, mix. With the machine on, add the dates, raisins, coconut oil. Gradually add the water until the mixture sticks to itself. Be careful not to add too much water.

Roll the mixture into balls and lay out on a tray. I use a baking tray covered in a wax sheet. Leave in the fridge for about an hour, until hard.

Make the chocolate coating: Whisk together the cacao powder and agave. Add the melted coconut oil. Once shiny, fold in the cacao nibs.

Dip the balls in the coating. Return to the fridge for at least an hour.
